ADHD Assessments
(ADHD= Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
As an Associate for CAYP Psychology, I conduct Screening and Assessments for ADHD for young people. This involves three main phases:
1. Screening questionnaires for parents and school or another environment the young person frequents.
If the screening suggests that a full assessment would be beneficial:
2. A developmental interview with parents, and the young person if suitable.
3. A face-to-face session with the young person, including a computer-based task.
A detailed, neuroaffirmative report is then provided, featuring recommendations for both home and educational settings.
You can find more information about ADHD assessments with CAYP on their website under Specialist Assessments for Autism, ADHD, and Learning Difficulties.
