Session information
-
How long are sessions?
Sessions are generally 50 minutes long.
For work directly with young people, this may need to include short movement breaks.
-
Do you work face to face?
Yes.
I can see young people and parent/ carers face to face in therapy rooms at Wheathampstead Well-being, near St Albans in Hertfordshire.
-
Do you work online?
Yes.
I offer online sessions with young people and parent/carers anywhere in the UK.
Young people often find it difficult to be on camera initially, and this is OK.
-
How much do sessions cost?
Sessions starting between 9-5pm on weekdays cost £140.
Sessions starting between 5-8pm on weekdays cost £150.
Payment can be made by bank transfer prior to the session, or by cash at the session.
-
How many sessions will we need?
This will be different for everyone.
We will start our work with an assessment session. For most people this will be followed with sessions to build a joint understanding of what is happening and why. This understanding, known as a ‘formulation’, then helps to guide us on the support that may be needed and how many session we may need to reach your goals.
We will regularly review how things are going.
-
Can I talk to you before we book an appointment?
Yes.
I offer a free 15 minute telephone or video call to consider if I am the right person to support you and your family.
Please contact me to arrange this call.
